The eyeliner permanent makeup procedure is synonymous with an eyelash enhancement. What to Expect?

Laurelle will first consult with you to get to know your lifestyle, personality and find out what you want in your eyeliner look. Laurelle will advise you on all of the options, color, shape, and thickness. You’ll discuss where you’d like your color, upper and/or lower eyelid.

Before your service begins, Laurelle will numb the area with topical anesthesia cream to minimize any discomfort. Laurelle uses a micropigmentation tool to carefully infuse eyeliner pigments into your skin. Because the pigment only goes into the dermal layer of your skin, eyeliner will fade in 1-3 years. This is helpful due to the fact that facial shapes and style trends change as well.

The cost of permanent eyeliner make-up services includes one FREE touch-up within 4 to 6 weeks of initial service. Laurelle highly recommends her clients to schedule a follow-up appointment on the date of the initial service. This touch-up appointment is required for Laurelle to fill in any areas that may have been discolored during healing process.

Please keep in mind the final results of your eyeliner make-up service cannot be determined until your touch-up appointment is completed. Pigment retention of the eyelid depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure and other factors. Annual touch-ups are recommended to prevent natural fading of your permanent eyeliner.

You are able to resume normal activities right after your eyeliner procedure. Minimal to slight bruising and redness of the area is to be expected. If you experience any of these they will go away after a day, maximum 48 hours. As with any permanent cosmetic treatment you can expect the color to appear 20% darker and brighter initially. It typically takes approximately 4 to 6 days for the skin to heal completely. After 21 days the final eyeliner color will bloom and settle.
